CHRISTMAS IN SINGAPORE

Well...I know it's Christmas because the calendar says December 25th....but it's hot and humid and it just doesn't feel like Christmas at all!!!! I'm so glad Doug is here with me, but it is very hard to be away from my "routine" for Christmas. Back home in Iowa we have a tradition of making prime rib for Christmas dinner...so to keep with that, Doug, Sandy and I went to Lawry's to eat for Christmas dinner. They have prime rib!!!! It was amazingly good.

Just before Sandy arrived Doug and I were being the "normal dorks" that we are and took these pictures.
And when Doug wasn't looking I took a picture of him on the phone...back home to wish people Merry Merry Christmas!
Before we left the apartment building to head to Lawry's for lunch we had our picture taken in front of the Christmas tree in the main lobby of my apartment building. We clean up pretty nice!
And we thought we should have one "brother/sister" picture, so here it is too.
After we ate we came back to the apartment and opened gifts...then we sat around...we were tired. Later we took a walk along Orchard Road to see all the activities going on for Christmas. I'll get pictures of that up later. It was amazing!!!!
I hope everyone had a fun day of fellowship with friends and family!
