FRIDAY NIGHT SITES

It's odd being melancholy knowing I'll be leaving Singapore and not ever seeing some of these things again. As I stopped to take some of these pictures I actually had tears come to my eyes. Odd that.

This is the sign to the restaurant that is attached to my apartment building. Padang cuisine...obviously I've never eaten there, but I see this restaurant every morning and every night and I love the red funky design on it.

And this is the spa that is right by my apartment and I walk past it every day also. Nope, I haven't taken advantage of it...silly me.

I will miss the site of the neighborhood eateries...right there on the sidewalk in front of the 7-11...they are everywhere. In a tropical climate a great deal of the restaurants are either completely or mostly outside seating.

Oh, how I'll miss these two signs...bus and MRT (train). I love the public transportation here. I really love NOT driving!!!!!!!!!! That's a miracle!!!

Getting on a bus tonight I saw these very unique park benches. I love how everything is decorated here!

This is a view up a street as I was waiting for a bus. I just love the green here!

And here's a fruit stand...just right inside a parking area near a restaurant. Fruit everywhere!
