STARTING TO TAKE IT ALL IN....

So, here's the start of my "taking it all in" before I leave pictures....you know, the pictures of things you walk by each day and take for granted.

This is the 'corner' by my apartment building. I walk by this almost every day. I wanted a picture to remember it by. I see a lot of people taking pictures in front of the "Orchard" sign as Orchard is a 5th Avenue New York kind of shopping area. Cairnhill Road is the road I live on. It's pronounced CANE HILL...odd.

This is the Singapore Visitor's Center on the same corner. It's a happening place. They don't open very early in the morning (nothing does here), but they are open late into the evening. They sell tickets to area attractions and help you find your way around. The best thing about this place...they have a place to sit down (rare in Singapore) and have a machine massage your legs. Ahhh...it's nice!!!! As you can see by the size of their sign, they are very serious about attracting visitors!
