Things are progressing!
Wow...things are going so fast, and my head is spinning!! If all goes well, I will be leaving on Wednesday, September 10th. I will fly to Chicago, on to Newark, and then to Hong Kong and finally 24 hours after leaving Des Moines I will arrive in Singapore. That, in itself, seems a bit overwhelming. My goal this weekend is to figure out what all I'm taking so I can possibly airship most of my things to Singapore in advance. I'd rather not have to mess with a bunch of luggage at the airport! It's hard knowing what to take...imagine all the things you use in a day, and not know if you can get that brand in Singapore...then you have to decide if you really need that particular brand, then you had better take enough to Singapore so you don't run out!

I'm so excited for you and this opportunity ahead of you! I am praying for you and your family: that you'll enjoy the experience and that you won't feel over whelmed by all the details (sounds like there are just too many!) Thanks for the Blog - it will be fun to see what you are doing over in Singapore. Thank you again so much for your friendship and all you did for me while my mom was in the Hospital. You are a BLESSING to everyone.
