Comfort Food

Today our I.T. person, Sandy, at work arrived back in the office from her vacation back to the states. She's really fun and I think we are going to be able to hang out and do things together. Tonight Sandy, bobby and I all went out to eat...at Outback Steakhouse....ah, comfort food for me!!! I had a really yummy steak (my favorite) and a jacket potato (that's their term for a baked potato) and their yummy bread. Oh, I think I was in heaven. I'm stuffed to the gills, but happy as a clam!

Sandy knew about this place that is similar to Walmart. I am going to go find it this weekend. Can't wait! Shopping I can afford!!!! :)

And the best part of the entire day was when I got home and my Mom had sent me a card. I was so touched. I talk to her on the phone, on Skype and email her, but somehow getting a letter with her handwriting made me feel really special. Thanks Mom, I Love you!!!

And to think I can't even find a post office here. I have postcards I've been carrying around for at least seven days and can't find a place to buy stamps. That's my goal at lunch tomorrow!
