A garage sale?????

Okay, so I told this story to my brother and he thought I should write it on my blog...so here goes. The other day I took a different route to the grocery store. I walked out of my apartment building and turned down what looked like an alley, but then I realized it was a street, just didn't have a lot of traffic on it. So I continued down the street and all I could see were a bunch of shoes on the sidewalk. I was so excited....I had come upon a garage sale, right in the middle of the shopping district. I could hardly wait. As I got closer I realized there were just shoes and nothing else...and oh my, I was at a Muslim Mosque. Before entering the Mosque the people would take their shoes off and just leave them on the sidewalk. When I realized where I was I certainly felt silly thinking I had come upon a garage sale! You can take the girl out of small town Iowa, but you can't take small town Iowa out of the town!!!!!
