The long awaited day has finally arrived...Zac will be in Singapore tonight...in only 14.5 hours, he'll be here!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I didn't sleep much last night. I kept waking up wondering where he was on his path to Singapore. I last talked to him when he was in the Chicago airport and waiting to get on the plane that would take him to Hong Kong and ultimately to Singapore. He is excited...and that is so exciting to me.
He had a hard time saying goodbye at the airport to his Dad and Brittany. It was precious when he said "I made it through security and I'm sitting here crying." Even tough guys have real feelings and aren't afraid to let them show. That just makes him all the sweeter, don't you think?
His time here will go much too fast, but I plan to cherish every moment. It will be good to sit and visit with this young man that has matured so much while I've been gone. I'm sure our relationship will be different...he lives with his Dad and works full time and I live in another country...much has changed since September when we lived together last!!!
By the way...did I mention that I'm super excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
