PEDICURES ARE SO DIFFERENT HERE!

Okay, so I live right next to the Singapore SPA Institute...yep, over six months and I've never stopped in. So, Sunday after a fun day out and about Sandy and I went to get a pedicure.

They started by taking our money first...different than in the U.S. for sure!

Then they took us to the restroom. Again, different.

Then they took us to this room that had massage type beds in it. We were to lay down...odd that. They then covered us with a towel...even stranger.

Then they brought out a tub of cool water and put our feet in it for maybe two to three minutes. Different again.

Then the rest was somewhat like a U.S. pedicure in that they scrubbed your foot a bit, then filed your nail and then polished them. Here's an odd thing...Sandy and I both chose the same color so one of us had to change because they only had one bottle per color!!!!!

When we were done we got to just lay there for about ten minutes while the polish dried. A bit different than in the U.S. where they have you put your feet under a fan.

And the final thing that was so very different...they then took us out to the atrium and had us drink a glass of Elderberry juice.
