SUNDAY IN SINGAPORE

Started out this morning by seeing this sign outside the apartment complex. Wow...not sure where the serious accident was, but they are really looking for witnesses. Can you imagine seeing this in the U.S.?

I was off to see the Singapore Expo. I figured it was similar to the Convention Center or Vets Auditorium....well, sort of. It was HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were all kinds of things going on there...from a design space (mostly had bedroom furniture) to a local department store sale to a Halal food fair.

This picture is of the MRT (train) station at the Expo. It kind of looks like a space ship....Sandy said "you call Target the mother ship, but this looks like a space ship". So true!

This is a janitorial closet...decorated. Yes, they do things up nice here. I had to take a picture...I can see this on a wall in my house, can't you?

What a sweet (no pun intended) treat tonight. Brian, Holly, Avery and Tyler had me over for an early birthday celebration. Avery, age 3, made this cake for me.

The chef...Miss Avery....notice her beautiful crown and earrings...she's been to Princess on Ice.
