Just past the food court was a tented off area (see below). It was a sort of flea market area. I walked around there, then went across the street to a mall...unfortunately it was completely closed as they are remodeling the entire mall!
So, I thought, what next. I decided a bus ride was in order. I admit figuring out the bus has been a bit difficult for me as you often have to transfer from one bus to another to get where you want to go, and I just haven't been able to get it figured out because I don't know the street names at all. Anyway, I was being adventuresome today and decided to get on the first two story bus that came along and see where it took me. Here's a picture of the bus.
So, I got on the bus and went to the second storey and was able to sit in the very front. The following are some of the things I saw along the way.
This is what we saw as we stopped at one of the bus stops. There are bus lanes all over here. The bus moves off the main road onto the bus lane and just goes past the bus stop unless someone puts their arm out (sort of like you would wave down a taxi). If they put their arm out, the bus stops, if not, the bus just moves back on to the main road again. Wild!

As we were driving through a business are I saw this fountain. It has glass looking bubbles (almost looks like balloons) all over it. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea where we were, so I can't go back and see it again...unless I stumble upon it.

As we were going along we saw many other buses. In fact, one time, we were right beside another two storey bus and if the window opened, I could have reached out and touched the other person we were so close. I saw this tour bus that was pink and thought I should put it on her for Bailey and Abbie! Love ya girls!

After a while I decided to get off the bus and got off at the Esplanade (similar to our Civic Center, but also has shopping attached). I went in and walked around. There was an art display there of hula hoops and rubber bands (see below). Very creative....and they called it art! I loved it!

In the shopping mall area there were big pillars with signs of what was this way and what was that way. I thought it was funny that this one said "I am just pretending to k now the way so that you might look at me..." Funny!!!!
